My boyfriend and I (along with his dad who is super cool) stayed at a small cute hotel called the Dandy Hotel. I thought it was funny how our room had two separate beds and a clear bathroom which I don't think I need to explain as well as a great view of construction outside. It was a fun night anyway we ate on the 85th floor of Taipei 101. Tried kidney for the first time and I can now say there is one chinese dish I would not venture to try again. The necklace Im wearing was a gift and I fell in love with it right away. It has sort of a old school chinese feel while staying freshly modern. After these photos were taken I had an exhausting trip from Taipei(northern taiwan) to Gaoxiong ( more southern) and then back up to taipei again to see my mom's side of the family whom I havent seen for over 6 years. The mosquitos welcomed me back to taiwan too. With 5 cleverly placed stings they had me pretty itchy for the rest of the trip. 

Beijing Brief Photo Diary

A few food porn photos for everyone. It is really unbelievable how fast Beijing is developing. It was nothing like I imagined like my boyfriend promised. The food was so good and night life is doing well. I bought the Elizabeth and James bird claw ring before my trip and im so glad I did its just perfect for my taste because I like large rings and I like things that are different. I could have gotten the onyx stone but I thought the subtle purple color was much more unique than a pure black stone and I was right.  I got semi scolded by a security guard for taking the AQUA photo and I decided it was safer to pretend I didnt know chinese than to admit I ignored the no photo signs.

Relatively short trip to Beijing and then an even shorter trip to taiwan. Couldn't get enough of the food there. Climbed the great wall of china and realized how scared I am of heights so I literally baby stepped down while shaking like crazy. Fashion is definitely very different in Beijing and was being quite conservative while shopping around.
